I created Mindfully Me to help you understand, then tend to, your needs, so you can be your best self

I actually began practicing mindfulness during one of the busiest times in my life...

At the time I was a mum to two small girls and felt like I was constantly juggling everything and everyone, with very little left for me. Even though I didn't really know how to start, I dipped my toe into the practice of becoming mindful.

I began practicing mindfulness, just in very small ways
As I became more confident, I committed to being more present and then journaled regularly. For me journaling was the magic ingredient to mindfulness: through writing I was able to be truly honest with myself. Within a few months of practice, I had a breakthrough! I could observe and witness my own thoughts. Fascinatingly: I saw the same thoughts always led me to the same actions - usually the ones I didn't want! This happened mostly when I felt 'caught' in my emotions. This was when I was most easily swayed away from my values and away from being who I wanted to be - especially as a mother.

What started as an experiment became an ongoing curiosity
Initially 'test-driving' mindfulness in my own life, went on to spark an ongoing curiosity: How do our thoughts and emotions shape our behaviours, beliefs, attitudes and experiences? It's from this place, that I began training in Mindfulness and Positive psychology.

We all know what we need, we just need some help to unlock that potential
All my work as a coach and trainer is informed by Positive Psychology, Mindfulness and Wellness. Whether it's in your Mindfully me journal, in one of my journaling workshops or in my coaching sessions, I share evidence-based tools that help you see, understand, then tend to, your own needs.

Because, in our heart, we already know what we need. We just need a guide to help us unlock our super powers to become the best version of ourselves...

Anneke has had the privilege to work with Dove Hospice for 9 years creating and facilitating Wellness Programs for patients to restore wellness.
She was also a Senior Mentor with the Western Centre for Mindfulness.
Anneke now brings her life-long skills and gentle approach to coaching - empowering you to develop new skills so you can be your best self...
